Web Design Studio
01 / 08
I spent twenty years running businesses. Now I build the websites they should have had.
Hand-coded sites for owner-run businesses — built by someone who has stood on your side of the counter.

Business owner first.
Developer second.
For twenty years I ran businesses rather than websites — wholesale coffee, hospitality, manufacturing, e‑commerce and an online classifieds platform. I have written the payroll, chased the invoice, taken the call at 6am and watched a quiet month arrive with no warning.
That is the part most web work is missing. A site is not a portfolio piece; it is a piece of equipment that has to earn its place. So I build the way I would want something built for me: no platform lock-in, no monthly fee for the privilege of existing, no jargon between you and a decision.
Everything is hand-coded and static, which means it loads fast, costs almost nothing to host, and belongs to you the day it launches.
- Industries run, not researched
- Wholesale coffee
- Hospitality
- Manufacturing
- E-commerce
- Online classifieds

Three ways in.
One fixed price.
Every build is quoted up front. You know the number before we start, and the number does not move unless you ask it to.

Six businesses.
Six problems.
Trades, hospitality, wholesale, rental and a national dealer network — each built around the one action that matters to that business.
In their words
05 / 08
Nothing here yet — and I would rather leave it empty than write it myself.
The studio is new. Client words go here as they arrive, with a name and a business attached to each one. Until then, the work in the previous section is the reference.

Four steps.
No mystery in any of them.
You will always know what is happening, what it costs, and what I need from you next.
01
Conversation
We talk about the business before the website — who buys, what they ask, what the site has to earn. No brief template, just questions.
02
Direction
One design direction, argued for, shown on real content and on a real phone. You approve the shape before a line of production code exists.
03
Build
Hand-coded, section by section, in the open. You review each piece as it lands rather than waiting for a big reveal at the end.
04
Handover
Launch, redirects, analytics, and a walkthrough. Domain and hosting stay in your name. Care plan optional, never compulsory.
Questions

The things
everyone asks.
Still unclear on something? Ask it directly — the form is right below.
How much does a website cost?
The three packages above cover most work: Launch at $1,800, Growth at $3,500, and Commerce from $7,000. If a project does not fit one of them, I quote a fixed price after the first conversation — you will never get an hourly invoice you cannot predict.
How long does it take?
A Launch site is typically two weeks from the go-ahead. Growth is three to five weeks. Commerce depends on the data and integrations involved, and I give you a staged timeline before we start. The usual delay is content, not code.
Who owns the site when it is finished?
You do — domain, hosting account, code and content. Everything is registered in your name from day one, and handover includes the credentials and a written summary of where everything lives.
Do you host the site as well?
I can. Sites are static and deploy to Cloudflare, which is fast and inexpensive to run. Hosting is included in the care plans, or I can set it up under your own account and step away.
What happens if I want changes later?
Each build includes a round of revisions before launch. After that, small edits are covered by a care plan, and larger pieces of work are quoted on their own. There is no lock-in either way.
Why not just use Wix, Squarespace or a template?
Sometimes you should, and I will tell you when that is the honest answer. What you get here instead is a hand-coded site that loads fast, ranks well, reads as yours rather than as a theme, and does not carry a monthly platform fee for the rest of its life.
